(3201) Sijthoff is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the Dutch research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten , Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels as part of the Palomar-Leiden Survey .
The Dutch publisher Albert Willem Sijthoff , who founded the Sijthoff Planetarium in The Hague in 1934, was honored with the naming of the asteroid .
