(3212) Agricola is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 19 February 1938 by the Finnish astronomer Yrjö Väisälä at Turku was discovered.

The name of the asteroid is reminiscent of the German researcher Georgius Agricola , who is also known as the "father of mineralogy".
