(4029) Bridges is a main belt asteroid discovered on May 24, 1982 by Carolyn Jean Spellmann Shoemaker from the Palomar Observatory . It is orbited by the natural satellite S / 2006 (4029) 1 , which has a diameter of about 2 km.
The asteroid was named after the American planetary cartographer Patricia M. Bridges .
