(4215) Kamo is a main belt asteroid discovered on November 14, 1987 by Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda of the Kushiro-shi Observatory.

The asteroid was named after Akira Kamo , the founder of the Japanese comet observer network Hoshi no Hiroba .
