(4288) Tokyotech is a main belt asteroid discovered on October 8, 1989 by Takuo Kojima at the Chiyoda Observatory.

The asteroid was named on August 19, 2008 after the Tōkyō Kōgyō Daigaku , the Tokyo Technical University .
