(4445) Jimstratton is a major belt asteroid discovered on October 15, 1985 by Kenzō Suzuki and Takeshi Urata from the Toyota Observatory .
The asteroid is named after James Michael Stratton , an engineer who helped develop the New Horizons spacecraft .
