(4562) Poleungkuk is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 21 October 1979 at Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing was discovered.

The name of the asteroid refers to the Po Leung Kuk charity in Hong Kong. The naming took place on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the foundation.
