(6575) Slavov is an asteroid of the main outer belt discovered on August 8, 1978 by the Russian astronomer N. S. Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj , Ukrainian SSR ( IAU code 095).
The asteroid was named on August 8, 1998 after the Ukrainian economist , diplomat and politician Mykola Slavov .
