(7583) Rosegger is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on January 17, 1991 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian state observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).

The asteroid was named in honor of the Austrian writer Peter Rosegger (1843–1918).
