(7584) Ossietzky is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on April 9, 1991 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian state observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).
The asteroid was named in honor of the German writer , journalist and pacifist Carl von Ossietzky (1889–1938), who was awarded the 1935 Nobel Peace Prize.
