(8273) Apatheia is a main belt asteroid discovered by Makio Akiyama and Toshimasa Furuta in Susono on November 29, 1989 . It was named after the suggestion of the discoverer after the term Apatheia from Greek philosophy , which means something like "serenity" or "insensitivity".
