The first women's tennis Bundesliga was Marienburger SC from the 2nd Bundesliga North and the TC Grün-Weiss Luitpoldpark Munich from the 2nd Bundesliga South.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the entire season was canceled on March 24, 2020. As a result, there are no promoters or relegators in 2020 for the 2021 season.
