The men's 30 Bundesliga tennis league is the top division in German men's 30 team tennis.
The first place in the 1st Tennis Bundesliga at the end of the season is the German champion. In the 13 seasons of the men's 30 tennis Bundesliga so far, a total of six different clubs have won the championship title. The most successful club is the Gladbach-based HTC with four Bundesliga championships. Tennis players aged 30 or over are eligible to play.
Game mode
The men's 30 Bundesliga , organized by the DTB , has consisted of two leagues since 2014, the BL Men 30 North and the BL Men 30 South .
Both groups play in simple league mode on a corresponding number of match days. The first two of the two groups will determine the German champion on a final weekend. The last two placed in the respective group will be relegated to the regional leagues and will be replaced by the first place in the regional leagues. Each game is decided in nine pairings, with six singles at the beginning and three doubles at the end. The winner of a pairing is determined in best-of-three mode (whoever wins two sets first). If a third and decisive set is necessary, this is played in the match tie-break (up to ten points).
The winning team in an encounter receives two points. In contrast to the men's Bundesliga, there is no draw. If there is a tie in the table, the set ratio and, if necessary, the number of games won will determine the final placement.
