The 10,000-meter European Cup (ger .: European Cup 10,000m) is the European Athletics Association (ger .: European Athletics Association - EAA) veranstalteter Track. history

The 10,000 meter European Cup was held for the first time in 1997 and was called the Challenge until 2005 . The model was the Iberian Championships over 10,000 meters in Portugal and Spain from 1991 to 1996. This explains that the first competitions of the new Challenge were initially held in Spain and Portugal. Until 2008 the event took place in the first half of April, since then in June.
