2,5-dimethoxy-4-propylphenethylamine (abbreviated 2C-P ) is a psychedelic effective hallucinogen , which due to its structure to the substance groups of the phenol ethers , the phenethylamine as well as to the group of 2Cs counts. Its effect is classified as entheogenic , among other things .
history
The American chemist Alexander Shulgin synthesized 2C-P for the first time and mentions synthesis, effect and dose in his book PIHKAL .
Pharmacokinetics
Shulgin indicates the orally effective dose in the range of 6 to 10 mg, the duration of action is 10 to 16 hours.
Legal status
2C-P was not subject to the Narcotics Act in Germany until 2014 ; it has been prohibited since the twenty-eighth ordinance amending narcotics regulations on December 5, 2014 ( Federal Law Gazette I, p. 1999 ).
