2,5-Dimethoxy-4- ( n ) -propylthiophenethylamine is a psychedelic hallucinogen with a remotely mescaline- related structure from the group of phenylethylamines . It was developed by Alexander Shulgin around 1980 .

In Switzerland, the drug is listed in the list of prohibited narcotics and is therefore illegal. 2,5-Dimethoxy-4- ( n ) -propylthiophenethylamine is a non-marketable narcotic in the Federal Republic of Germany due to its listing in Annex 1 BtMG. Handling without permission is generally a criminal offense.
