2 Eivissa is a Eurodance project that was initiated in the 1990s by the Hamburg team 33, consisting of Ambrogio Crotti (* Amadeus Crotti) and Luigi Ricco (* Luis Rodríguez-Salazar). The act was active as a duo in changing female line-ups . The biggest hit is the 1997 single Oh La La La .

biography

2 Eivissa was founded in the mid-1990s. Most of the songs were written and produced by Ambrogio Crotti, Luigi Ricco and David Lacera. For the vocals on the first album , the American Terri Bjerre , who already worked with Udo Lindenberg and participated in remixes of MC Lyte and Busta Rhymes , and Melanie Molinnus could be won. In mid-1999 Molinnus was replaced by Jobel, who as Lian Ross had a hit with Fantasy in 1985 . The work of the singers was limited to the studio sessions, two girls named Jane and Francine were used in live shows until 2000.

First 2 Eivissa had success in the clubs of Ibiza , then they conquered the Spanish hit parade , then the charts in Europe . 1997 to 1999 were the act's most successful years. Oh La La La was in the Top 20 in the UK in 1997 and in the German Top 50 , and the 1999 single I Wanna Be Your Toy was a Top 100 hit in Germany. The project ended in 2005. Team 33 used 2007 samples of the hit Oh La La La for the track Hot Summer Night by David Tavaré . In 2009 a remix was released. On June 5, 2015, the single Dale Duro , a feature with Tapo & Raya, was released.
