The 4 Vallées region ( Quatre Vallées , French for four valleys ) is a winter sports area in the Valais Alps in the French-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland .

Six villages and their mountain railway companies, which are located on the southern side of the Rhone and extend over four side valleys, have come together to form the largest skiing and hiking area in Switzerland in the Valais Alps. The cooperation made it possible to develop what is now the highest mountain in the ski area, Mont Fort . A total of 412 km of slopes and 92 lifts are available. The Funitel is the most powerful lift in Switzerland with a capacity of 3,000 people per hour.

The merger project was the work of the pioneers Rodolphe Tissières and Michel Michelet, who had been pursuing the idea since the mid-1970s.

The area includes the valleys and mountain ranges of Nendaz , Veysonnaz , Verbier , Thyon and La Tzoumaz .
