- 4th year of reign of the Babylonian king Nabopolassar (622 to 621 BC): In the Babylonian calendar , the beginning of the first year of Nisannu falls on the 14th – 15th. March; the full moon in Nisannu on the 28th-29th March and the 1st Tašritu on the 7th-8th September.
- Finding of the Mosaic code of law (probably the 5th book of Moses ) in the temple of Jerusalem under the rule of King Josiah , which led to the "Josian reform" of worship in Israel with elements such as cult centralization on Jerusalem.
