- In the month of Ajaru ( April 28th - May 27th ) the Assyrian army takes action against unrest in Akkad .
- The first order of Nabopolassar as designated heir to the Babylonian throne is dated May 17th (18th Ajaru).
- On October 2nd (11th Tašritu : October 1st – 2nd) the Assyrian army invades Babylon after several battles and sacked the city.
- On November 16 (26 Araḫsamna : November 15-16) Nabopolassar ascends the throne as the new official Babylonian king after Babylonia was without a king for a year according to the Babylonian chronicles.
