The A930 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Areas Dundee and Angus .

course

The road begins as a turn off the A92 ( Dunfermline - Stonehaven ) east of central Dundee . It runs in an easterly direction along the north bank of the Firth of Tay , while the A92 runs largely parallel to the north. The A930 forms the main road of the Dundeer suburb of Broughty Ferry and crosses the Dighty Water on its eastern edge and thus also the border to the Council Area Angus. It leads through Monifieth and after about 13 kilometers reaches the village of Carnoustie . There it forms the main road and bends in the center to the northwest. Leaving Carnoustie, the road joins the A92 after two more kilometers and a total length of 18.2 kilometers.
