XFX AMD Radeon RX 570 RS 8GB XXX Edition

The Radeon 500 series is a series of graphics cards from AMD . It is a classic rebranding series of the Radeon 400 series .

description

The Radeon RX 580 uses the new Polaris 20 graphics chip, which is very similar to the Polaris 10 graphics chip that was first used in the Radeon RX 480 . The only difference between the two GPUs is the increased clock rate, which has been increased by approx. 100 MHz. The Radeon RX 580 was introduced by AMD on April 17, 2017 and was the first graphics card in the RX series that does not have an official reference design. Like the Radeon RX 480, this graphics card also stands out with its low price of 259 euros for the 8 GB version and 225 euros for the 4 GB version.

The Radeon RX 570 is also a rebranding version of the Radeon RX 470. The Radeon RX 570 uses the new Polaris 20 graphics chip, just like the more powerful Radeon RX 580. The Polaris 20 chip in the RX 570 variant has a clock rate that is around 100 MHz lower than the Radeon RX 580, but around 100 MHz higher than the previous model, the Radeon RX 470. It is in the 4 GB and 8 GB - GB variant available. The Radeon RX 570 was also presented by AMD on April 17, 2017. Like its predecessor, this graphics card also stands out with its relatively low price of 199 euros.

Naming

In the case of the Radeon RX 500 series, the naming scheme of the previous series was retained. All models are named with AMD RX 5 and then a two-digit ending in descending order of performance category. These two-digit endings range from 20 to 90, with the Radeon RX 520 being the weakest and the Radeon RX 590 the most powerful graphics card in the Radeon RX 500 series.

Remarks

  1. The date indicated is the date of the public presentation, not the date of availability of the models.
  2. The specified performance values for the computing power via the stream processors, the pixel and texel fill rate, as well as the memory bandwidth are theoretical maximum values (with boost clock) that are not directly comparable with the performance values of other architectures. The overall performance of a graphics card depends, among other things, on how well the available resources can be used or fully utilized. There are also other factors that are not listed here that affect performance.
  3. a b The specified clock rates are the reference data recommended or specified by AMD, the effective clock is specified for the memory clock. However, the exact clock rate can deviate by a few megahertz due to different clock generators, and the final definition of the clock rates is in the hands of the respective graphics card manufacturer. It is therefore entirely possible that there are or will be graphics card models that have different clock rates.
  4. TBP / TDP values do not represent the maximum power consumption.
  5. The measured values listed in the table relate to the pure power consumption of graphics cards that correspond to the AMD reference design. A special measuring device is required to measure these values; Depending on the measurement technology used and the given measurement conditions, including the program used to generate the 3D load, the values can fluctuate between different devices. Therefore, measured value ranges are given here, each representing the lowest, typical and highest measured values from different sources.
  6. a b c d The model is an OEM product that is not available on the retail market.
