action

Estrella, a little girl, is very often alone. Her mother Angela works and her father died in prison. At home, she often watches horror films that are completely unsuitable for her age.

She lives in her own fantasy world, in which she is accompanied in everyday life, for example by a monster who murders with a chainsaw, and other horror characters. One day she meets a man whom she calls a vampire. He is nice and takes care of her. However, he kills her teacher and doesn't seem so harmless otherwise.

When a strange man shows up at Angela's workplace and tells her that her husband was not dead and has come back to town, she panics. At home she finds Estrella and her husband, who is identical to Estrella's vampire. He threatens Angela and sleeps with her while her daughter hides in her room. After Angela fell asleep, the chainsaw monster is in Estrella's room, sawing the door and chasing her father. He is also followed by other horror characters and his head is cut off with a chainsaw in the underground car park.

The end of the film shows Estrella's family in front of the television. Her father is sitting in the armchair, reading the newspaper and looking like her vampire. Her mother Angela sleeps next to Estrella and a movie is shown on TV. Everything happened only in Estrella's imagination.

criticism

"The horror film made for Spanish television tells the current story extremely closely and does without any overly blatant effects."

"Leatherface is a super nanny and quotes the highest civic duty in a pastel-colored family horror light game from Spanish television, in which, in the style of the thinly forbidden" Nightmare ", just incomparably bloodless, an insane daddy in Halloween costume mounts his family, at most half built by it. In the absence of prominent names and bang effects, this is not a case for broad fan masses, but connoisseurs of the subject and discerning friends of mystery entertainment will appreciate the little pearl.
