A Woman's Worth is a R & B - Soul - Song of the US R & B / soul singer Alicia Keys . The song is a piano - R & B -Soul- ballad with elements of Neo Soul , it was used by Keys for her debut album, Songs in A Minor written even in 2001 and produced.

The song was released worldwide as a single from the album in February 2002 . It is Keys 'second single, after their world hit Fallin' from the previous year. The single became another top 10 hit for Alicia Keys in the United States .

Music video

The music video was directed by Chris Robinson in Brooklyn .

The video starts where Fallin ' left off: The protagonist's friend (played by Keys) has now been released from prison and has to find his way around the newly won freedom. Parallel narrative threads show harmony and disharmony between the sexes .

The video was nominated for Best R&B Video and Best Cinematography at the MTV Video Music Awards 2002 . Keys sang A Woman's Worth with Fallin ' at the 2002 Grammy Awards .

The music video had its TV premiere on October 16, 2001.
