The Aalenbach is a left tributary of the Rosselbrunngraben in the Miltenberg district in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Aalenbach rises in Hollergrund , north of the Wildenstein ruins , at the foot of the Agneshöhe at an altitude of 300 m above sea level. NHN . It initially flows in a north-westerly direction through the Hollergrund and finally flows into Unteraulenbach at an altitude of 190 m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Rosselbrunngraben approaching from the east .
The approximately 2.1 km long course of the Aalenbach ends approximately 110 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of approximately 52 ‰.
Catchment area
The approximately 2.1 km² catchment area of the Aalenbach lies in the Spessart and is drained through it via the Rosselbrunngraben, the Elsava , the Main and the Rhine to the North Sea.
It borders
- in the east and southeast of the catchment area of the Aubach , which flows into the Elsava
- in the south to the Brunnfloßgraben of the Elsava river
- and in the north to that of the Rosselbrunngraben.
The highest elevation is the Agneshöhe at 513 m above sea level. NHN in the east of the catchment area.
The catchment area is almost completely forested and only populated in the estuary.
