The Aubach is a left tributary of the Elsava in the Miltenberg district in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Aubach rises in a pond in Wildensee , a district of the Eschau market , below the Hundsrückkopf (478 m). There the water is directed into a water treading basin. The Aubach flows from the Hofwildensee to the Waldmühle , part of the Mönchberg market , through the Aubachtal nature reserve near Wildensee . The creek is partly accompanied by Kreisstraße 26 (Eschau-Wildensee). Below Eschau , the Aubach crosses the state road 2308 and flows into the Elsava from the left .

Aubachtal nature reserve near Wildensee
The approximately 63 hectare large nature reserve Aubachtal in Wildensee was expelled 1,991th It is located in the approximately 7.5 km long section of the upper Aubache east of Eschau , accompanied by the district road MIL 26 . The protection goal is the preservation or restoration of the Aubach valley as a representative brook biotope with a significant population of brook lampreys and bullheads .
