Aaron LaRae Jones (* 2. December 1994 in Savannah , Georgia ) is an American American football poker players in the position of running backs . He played college football for the University of Texas at El Paso and has been with the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL) since 2017 .

From 2013 to 2016, Jones played football in college . He attended the University of Texas at El Paso , where he played for the UTEP Miners in the NCAA Division I FBS. In his third year of college, he was only able to play two games due to injury. Jones is the college record holder for most yards run.

Overall, he came in the four years to 658 running tests at 4,114 yards extra space and as well as 33 erlaufenen touchdowns . He also caught 71 passes for 646 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Jones was selected 182nd in the 5th round by the Green Bay Packers in the 2017 NFL Draft .

Jones was listed as the Packers' third running back when he played his rookie season on Matchday 4 due to injuries to Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams against division rivals Chicago Bears . He scored his first touchdown in the NFL with a run over three yards. With 13 runs he gained 49 yards of space. In his first two years with the Packers, Jones achieved 5.5 yards of space per run, which he was able to establish himself as the strongest running back of the Packers ahead of Jamaal Williams.

In the fifth game of the season 2019 at the Dallas Cowboys , which the Packers won 34:24, Jones scored all four touchdowns of his team. He was recognized as the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance , as well as in week 8, when he caught two touchdown passes in the win against the Kansas City Chiefs and gained a total of 226 yards, of which 67 yards in the running game and 159 in the passing game.
