Aaron Reckers (born February 13, 1989 in Bissendorf ) is a German ice hockey player .

Career

The defender Aaron Reckers comes from Bissendorf in the district of Osnabrück and later moved with his family to Bielefeld . There he began his career at SV Brackwede at the age of six . Later he was active in the junior division of the EJ Kassel and the Iserlohner EC . In the 2005/06 season he made his first games in the senior camp for the amateur team of the Iserlohner EC, with whom he rose to the Regionalliga West at the end of the season .

For the 2008/09 season, Reckers moved to the upper division Saale Bulls Halle , before moving to the regional division Rostock Piranhas a year later . With the Rostockers he became champions of the Regionalliga Nord in 2010. Reckers then moved to the upper division EHF Passau Black Hawks , for which he was active for about one and a half years. During the 2011/12 season, Aaron Reckers then went to the second division club Dresdner Eislöwen . For Dresden he completed 38 second division games and scored one goal.

During the 2012/13 season Reckers was awarded to the upper division Wild Boys Chemnitz before he moved to the Rote Teufel Bad Nauheim . With the Nauheimers, Reckers became champions of the league and rose to the DEL2 . Reckers then moved to the upper division Hammer Eisbären and in 2014 went to the Hanover Indians, with whom he was runner-up in the Oberliga Nord. In the summer of 2015 Reckers then moved to Herner EV for two years , with whom he became champion of the Oberliga Nord in 2017.

For the 2017/18 season Aaron Reckers moved to the regional league team Herford EV . With the Ostwestfalen, Reckers became champions of the Regionalliga West in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. In both cases, however, the Herford team waived the possible promotion. Reckers returned to Hammer Eisbären for the 2019/20 season.
