The three years younger brother of the football player Saleh Gomaa began his career like this one at ENPPI Club in Cairo . In 2013 he moved up to the first team and played two games in the Egyptian Premier League . On January 30, 2014 he moved to 1. FC Union Berlin on loan until the end of the season , who also had a purchase option. The midfielder made his debut for Union on February 21, 2014 (22nd matchday of the 2013/14 season ) when he was substituted on for Torsten Mattuschka in the 85th minute in the 2-0 home win against FSV Frankfurt by coach Uwe Neuhaus . 1.
