Abdelbasset Hannachi (born February 2, 1985 ) is a former Algerian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2003, 2006 and 2009 Abdelbasset Hannachi was the Arab road racing champion. At the B World Championships in Cape Town in 2007 , he won the silver medal in the 1000 m time trial on the track.

In 2011 Hannachi drove the German TT Raiko Argon 18 . A collaboration beyond this year failed because he did not receive a visa for Germany from the German embassy in Algiers and therefore could not compete in races in Europe.

In 2014 he became national road champion. In 2016 Hannachi started at the African Championships on the track and won a silver medal in each of four disciplines. In the same year he ended his cycling career.
