Abdollah Davami ( Persian عبدالله دوامی Abdollāh Davāmi ; * 1891 or 1899 in Ta near Tafresh; † 1980 or January 10, 1981 in Tehran ) was an Iranian singer. Life dates according to the Iranian calendar 1309 to December 20, 1359.

Davami studied vocal with Ali Khan Nayeb os-Saltane and instrumental radif music with Mirza Hosseyngholi and Mirza Abdollah as well as with Sama Hozur and Haji Khan Eyn od-Dole Tasnif (vocal-rhythmic music) and tombak . For many years he worked with Haji Khan and learned from him and thus became a mediator between the traditional vocal music of the Qajar period and the modern classical music of Iran.

With the tar and setar masters Darvish Khan , Seyyed Hosseyn Taherzade , Abolhassan Eghabl and Bagher Khan , he made recordings as a singer at Monarch Records in Tbilisi in 1914 , some of which were lost. Recordings of compositions by Aref Ghacazini have been preserved . Further recordings of vocal radifs and tasnifs were made in the 1970s.

Davami was friends with musicians such as the singer Malek-al-Zakerin , the setar master Mirza Abd-al-Allah , the tar master Mirza Hosseingholi and the Kamantsche master Hossein Khan . His pupils included, inter alia, Abolhassan Saba , Mahmoud Karimi , Faramarz Payvar , Nasrollah Nassehpoor , Dariush Talai , Mohammad Reza Shajarian , Mohammad Reza Lotfi , Nasser Farhangfar , Hossein Alizadeh , Fatemeh Vaezi , Sima Bina , Fakhereh Saba , Parviz Meshkatian , Madjid Kiani and Mohammad Heydari .
