Oxmo Puccino
Oxmo Puccino (born August 3, 1974 in Ségou , Mali ; civil Abdoulaye Diarra ) is a French rapper . He has lived with his family in Paris in the 19th arrondissement since 1975 .
Career
Oxmo Puccino made a name for himself in the Parisian rap scene around 1995 with the Time Bomb project and his radio freestyles. He became known nationwide for his piece "Pucc Fiction" with Booba on the mixtape L432. In his chanting, Oxmo often uses complex metaphors , which gave him the status of "intellectual rapper" in France . Lyrically he can be compared to the late chansonnier Jacques Brel .
