Abdulkadir Tuncer
Abdulkadir Tuncer (* 1998 or 1999) is an Austrian actor with Turkish roots.
Career
Tuncer is the son of Turkish parents and lives in Vienna. His family of 4 emigrated to Austria from Konya in 2002 .
In 2012 he played the lead role in the drama Your Beauty Is Worthless, directed by Hüseyin Tabak . For his portrayal of the refugee boy Veysel, he was awarded the Turkish Film Prize 2012 as best leading actor and the Ankara International Film Festival 2013 as the best young actor, and he was also nominated for the Austrian Film Prize 2014 .
In 2013 he played the twelve-year-old murderer Ivo Radnev in the Tatort episode Counted by director Sabine Derflinger . In 2016, he played the teenage boy Mikhail in the film Geschwister of the director Markus Mörth , his third leading role.
