Abdullah Halman (born August 15, 1987 in Şanlıurfa ) is a Turkish football player.
Career
Halman started club football in the youth of Gaziantepspor and received a professional contract in 2005. After he had spent the first half of the 2005/06 season mostly with the reserve team, he was awarded for the purpose of match practice for the second half of the fourth division Gaskispor . At this club he made his professional debut against Karamanspor on February 5, 2006 . He also spent the next season on loan at the fourth division club Mezitlispor . At this club he got ten goals in 25 league encounters.
For the 2007/08 season he moved to the then third division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . Here he immediately found a place in the regular formation and scored ten goals in 28 league encounters. The first division team Eskişehirspor became aware of him and signed him. Here he was mostly on the bench and only made three games until the winter break. So he was loaned to his old club Mersin İdman Yurdu for the second half of the season. With this club one reached the runner-up of the TFF 2nd Lig and thus direct promotion to the TFF 1st Lig at the end of the season .
Halman returned to Eskişehirspor for the new season and completed the pre-season camp here. Following this camp he was loaned to the club in his home country, Şanlıurfaspor, for a season. In the third division, Halman increased his previous record and scored twelve goals in 27 league encounters.
For the 2010/11 season he moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . In his new place of work, he immediately established himself as a service provider. In the 2010/11 season, the club missed the championship of the TFF 1st Lig with a point difference and had to be relegated . Here they only missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the final with a 0-1 defeat against Orduspor .
In the summer of 2012, he left Gaziantep BB and moved to his old club, today's first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . Without having played a league game for Mersin İY, he left Mersin after half a season and moved to the second division 1461 Trabzon .
In the summer of 2013 he returned to his old club Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor and signed a five-year contract here. In the summer of 2015, his contract, which was still valid until 2017, was terminated prematurely by mutual agreement.
For the 2015/16 season he moved to third division club Kocaeli Birlikspor . Here he played for the championship with his club throughout the season. At the end of the regular season he was runner-up with this and thus qualified for the play-off phase of the league in which the last climber is determined by the knockout system . Halman contributed to this success with 18 league goals and thus became the top scorer of the TFF 2nd Lig . After this personal success, he moved to the new season in the TFF 1. Lig for the Istanbul promoted Ümraniyespor and played here for a season.
