Abe Gashahun (born April 20, 1998 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Abe Gashahun gained his first experience at international championships at the 2015 World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang , where he secured eighth place in the U20 classification after 24:08 minutes and won the silver medal behind Kenya in the team classification. He then took part in the 5000-meter run at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa , where he finished fifth in 15: 08.28 minutes. In 2019 he finished fourth at the Africa Games in Rabat in 13: 21.29 minutes.
