Aberwheeler ( Welsh : Aberchwiler ) is a village and community in the Welsh Principal Area Denbighshire , which had 298 inhabitants at the 2011 census.

Located in the valley of the same name near the confluence of the Clwyd and Afon Chwiler , the Aberwheeler has an area of 1,060 hectares and is 50.5 meters above sea level.

history
In the vicinity of Aberwheeler at Pontruffydd Hall there is a cremation cemetery , which may be of Roman origin. In the Middle Ages, the area fell into the Bodfari parish. The Pontruffydd Hall introduces fundamental structures from the 16th century is itself the oldest Besiedlungsort, with those very structures was rebuilt in the 19th century in the Gothic style. While people gradually settled in the vicinity of Pontruffydd Hall in the later centuries and lived mainly from agriculture, the core of the settlement in Waen Aberchwiler emerged in the 19th century. A chapel was built for the first time in 1822, and the buildings expanded at the same time. In the last census from 2011, Aberwheeeler had 298 inhabitants in 150 households.
