Abigail Borah

Abigail Borah (* 1990 ) is an American activist .

Life

Borah is the spokeswoman for the International Youth Climate Movement ( English for " International Youth Climate Movement ") and for the SustainUS group (about sustainability for us or ... for the United States ). She is studying environmental science at Middlebury College .

In 2011, her disruption to an appearance by the US chief negotiator, Todd Stern , at the UN Climate Change Conference in Durban caused an international stir.

“I'm afraid for my future. 2020 is too late to wait until then. We urgently need a path to an ambitious, fair and legally binding agreement. You have to take responsibility and act now. "
