Crash over Gibraltar (original title: Generał - zamach na Gibraltarze ) is a Polish feature film by Anna Jadowska from 2009 . It deals with the last days of General Władysław Sikorski , Commander in Chief of the Polish Army and Prime Minister of the Polish government in exile , who is said to have died in the plane crash near Gibraltar on July 4, 1943. The film takes up the suspicion of sabotage and the murder order of General Sikorski, who by his planned publication of the leaked documents about the Katyn massacre by Russia of 25,000 Polish officers and intellectuals of all professions inform the world public and thus inform Russia as a coalition partner against Nazi Germany wants to point out untenable.
