Accurate Records is an American jazz label from Somerville , Massachusetts , which primarily publishes music from the Boston area .
history
Accurate was founded in mid-1987 by Russ Gershon, director of the Either / Orchestra , on which the formation's first recordings were made ( Dial "E" for Either / Orchestra ). This was followed by productions a. a. by Charlie Kohlhase and Dominique Eade as well as the rock trio Morphine on the sub-label Accurate Distortion . The trio Medeski, Martin & Wood , Notes from the Underground released their debut album on Accurate in 1995 . In the 1990s, u. a. Recordings by Ken Schaphorst , Frank Carlberg , Garrison Fewell , Joe Gallant , Rudresh Mahanthappa and Marcus Rojas , in the 2000s by Allan Chase , Pandelis Karayorgis , Bill Anschell and Josh Roseman .
