Life

In 1999 the Lucky Luke counterpart "Hommage à Morris" was released. Achdé was one of the cartoonists of this volume at the time and wrote the four-page story "Lucky Luke et Machine Gun Kid". Well-known characters such as Hank Bully, Waldo Badmington or the Daltons as well as the illustrator “Maurice Morris” and Bonny Dan, the cousin of Billy the Kid, are used.

After Morris' death in 2001, a follow-up artist for the Lucky Luke series was sought . He was found in Achdé.
