Adalbert Busl

Adalbert Busl (born December 10, 1950 in Beidl ) is a German homeland researcher and retired primary school principal.

Life

Busl was born in Beidl, now a district of Plößberg , and lives in Wiesau , where he worked full-time as a primary school rector until his retirement in 2016. He passed his Abitur in 1971 at the Augustinus-Gymnasium Weiden . After studying to be a teacher, he initially worked as a mobile teacher and then from 1979 on at the elementary school in Wiesau. In 1995 he was appointed school youth counselor . After several primary school rector appointments from 2000, he became the great rector of the three primary schools in Wiesau, Falkenberg and Friedenfels in 2011 . At the elementary school in Wiesau he was the initiator of the Miniphänomenta , a MINT project of the education initiative Technology - Future in Bavaria 4.0 .

Busl attended seminars on Bavarian regional history and wrote numerous local history publications on topics in the Upper Palatinate region . Since 1990 he has been editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Oberpfälzer Heimat of the Oberpfälzer Waldverein as well as the complementary series of Weidner local history works. In July 2018, the Bavarian Minister of the Interior and patron of the Nordgau Conference, Joachim Herrmann, awarded him the Nordgau Prize of the Oberpfälzer Kulturbund for his services to homeland care .
