Adalbert Enders

Adalbert Enders (born January 2, 1856 in Dieban , Lower Silesia , † March 25, 1925 in Meiningen ) was a German politician ( FVp , FVP , DDP ).

Live and act

Enders studied theology at the University of Breslau , where he also became a member of the Raczeks' old Breslau fraternity in 1876 . He later worked as a deacon and then as a school director, most recently as a government and high school councilor. He turned to liberalism, joined the Free People's Party (FVp) and was a member of the state parliament of the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen from 1904 to 1907 . From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the Reichstag as a member of the constituency of the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen 2 (Sonneberg - Saalfeld) . In 1910 he became a member of the Progressive People's Party (FVP). After the November Revolution, Enders served as State Councilor in the government of the Free State of Saxony-Meiningen from 1918 . In this function he was responsible for the elementary school system. From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the Landtag in the Free State of Saxony-Meiningen and at the same time a member of the People's Council for Thuringia. After the formation of the state of Thuringia , he was a member of the local parliament from 1920 to 1921 .
