Adalberto Paulo da Silva OFMCap (born January 25, 1929 in Sambaíba ) is a Brazilian Roman Catholic religious and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Fortaleza .

Life

Adalberto Paulo da Silva joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and received on 8 December 1956, the priestly ordination .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on April 3, 1975 Bishop of Viana . The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Carmine Rocco , donated him episcopal ordination on August 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Aloísio Lorscheider OFM , Archbishop of Fortaleza, and Timóteo Francisco Nemésio Pereira Cordeiro OFMCap, Bishop of Tianguá .

On May 24, 1995, he was appointed auxiliary bishop in Fortaleza and titular bishop of Capsa . On March 24, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
