The diocese Tianguá ( Latin Dioecesis Tianguensis , Portuguese Diocese de Tianguá ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Tianguá in the state of Ceará .

history

The diocese of Tianguá was on March 13, 1971 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui summopere from cessions of territory of the diocese of Sobral and subordinated to the archdiocese of Fortaleza as a suffragan .
