Adam Kamiński (born May 27, 1984 in Chatham , Canada ) is a Canadian volleyball player.

biography

Adam Kamiński was born to Józef and Kazimiera. His parents emigrated from Poland to Canada in the 1970s . At first he played basketball , but by the end of high school he became interested in volleyball . He played on the college team that won the championship twice and was Canada runner-up three times. In the first season he was named best newcomer. Due to his good game in America he was able to switch to the Slovenian OK Salonit Anhovo Kanal , where he played for a year and a half and won the runner-up in the Slovenian volleyball league.

When his contract with the Slovenian team expired, he began looking for a new team. He got a couple of suggestions, he chose the promoted to the Polish PlusLiga , Effector Kielce , where he signed a one-year contract. His debut in the inaugural session of the season with Skrą Bełchatów , where his team didn't take a set. In the first round he served as a substitute, he played the longest in a duel against Politechnika Warsaw , where he scored four points. At the end of the season he was in the play-off games more often in use and scored 45 points. In the summer of 2011, his contract with the Kielce team was extended by one year. Adam Kaminski has been playing in the Czech Republic for VK Dukla Liberec since January 2013 .

Adam Kaminski also has a proven track record on the Canadian national volleyball team . He took part in the 2010 Volleyball World Cup, where the Canadian volleyball team was eliminated in the first phase of the competition.
