Adam Mazúr (born January 26, 1987 in Košice ) is a former Slovak handball player .

The 1.87 m tall left back player last played for the German second division EHV Aue and played for the Slovak national team .

Career

Adam Mazúr played from 2005 for the professional team of the Slovak top club HT Tatran Prešov , with whom he won the championship and the cup in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Internationally, the right-hander reached the group stage of the EHF Champions League several times , the quarter-finals in the European Cup Winners' Cup 2005/06 and the round of 16 in the EHF Cup 2009/10. In October 2011 he switched to league competitor HC Sporta Hlohovec , with whom he reached the third round in the 2011/12 EHF European Cup Winners' Cup, the first round in the 2012/13 EHF European Cup and the group stage in 2013/14. From 2014 he played for the German second division EHV Aue . He ended his career after the 2015/16 season.

Adam Mazúr was in the extended line-up of Slovakia for the European Championship 2012 , but was not considered for the tournament. He played two internationals in which he scored seven goals.
