Adam Moundir (born April 26, 1995 in Saint-Louis , France ) is a Swiss - Moroccan tennis player .

Career

Moundir grew up in Switzerland and studied from 2014 to 2018 at Old Dominion University in Virginia , where he also played college tennis . In 2018 he began to regularly take part in professional tournaments and was in his first final of the ITF Future Tour at the end of the year . In doubles he reached five finals, but could not win any. At the end of 2018, he was in the top 800 of the world rankings in singles and in the top 700 in doubles.

In 2019 Moundir made his first appearance on the ATP Tour in Marrakech . He started with a wildcard in doubles alongside Amine Ahouda and lost to Jürgen Melzer and Franko Škugor at the beginning . In 2019 Moundir also made his debut for the Moroccan Davis Cup team when he lost to the Lithuanian Ričardas Berankis . Due to the ITF's point reform , he currently has no points in the world rankings.
