Adam Valdez

Adam Valdez (* 20th century ) is an American VFX supervisor who was awarded an Oscar .

Career

Adam Valdez learned image processing from a friend on the computer and later worked in Phil Tippett's studio , according to his own statements, at the age of eight. During this time he worked in the films RoboCop 2 , RoboCop 3 , Jurassic Park and Starship Troopers . He then switched briefly to the WETA Studio, which was responsible for the visual effects for the films The Lord of the Rings: The Companions and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers , on which Valdez was involved. Later, in 2003, he moved to the Los Angeles Moving Picture Company, headquartered in Soho, London.

Adam Valdez received an award for his artistic achievements for the film The Jungle Book at the 2017 Academy Awards, along with Robert Legato , Andrew R. Jones and Dan Lemmon in the category of best visual effects . The same team also won a BAFTA award .

Adam Valdez also appeared twice as an actor in the films The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian of Narnia and a short film entitled Portal to Narnia: A Painting Comes to Life in front of the camera.
