Adam from Krakow
Adam from Krakow ( Polish Adam z Krakowa ; † before June 5, 1520 ) was one of the most productive painters in Krakow at the transition from the 15th to the 16th century. His works have not been preserved and can only be documented. The art historian Feliks Kopera equates him with Adam from Lublin .
Life
Adam was a guild elder in Cracow from 1491 to 1493, 1497, 1499, 1504, 1506, 1508 and 1510 . Among his students his son Adam, Stanisaw Kantorek from Chęcin, Alberta Koza and Paweł.
On June 5, 1520, his wife Barbara is widowed.
