(13513) Manila is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 2 March 1990 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory of the European Southern Observatory in Chile ( IAU code was discovered 809).
The asteroid was named after Manila , the capital of the Philippines , on August 29, 2015 .
